Saturday April 29 is Independent Bookstore Day. And it’s the 10th Anniversary.
We’ll have lots of things going on. You can enter to win one of two books. “Candy House” by Jennifer Egan or an autographed copy of “Captain Vorpatril’s Alliance” by Lois McMaster Bujold.
In partnership with libro.fm we’ll hide a golden ticket somewhere in the store. If you find it you will win 12 free audiobook credits.
From 1-4pm, Kimberly Myers of Kim’s Creations will be selling her unique creations for all occasions. There’s just something about handmade items that sets them apart from big box mass-produced goods. Kim works hard to bring you handmade personal accessories, ranging from crossbody bags and wallets to eyeglass cases and card holders. Highly practical items made to last and look great while you live your life on the go! Passion and practice really come through in her work, and you’ll be excited to see them.
Sara Seracki of Sara’s Basement Treasures will also come to sell her handcrafted stuffed toys.
