He is struggling with reading and ready to give up\, when he meets Fletcher\, an owl and other magical creatures who help him to practice and persevere. He realizes that he can do it. \nAbout the Author: \nJennifer Schmidig is living her dream of making a difference in children’s lives. She has recently retired from teaching elementary students for close to 30 years. She lives with her husband\, son\, and a few energetic kitties in Northern Wisconsin\, where the woods are still deep\, the lakes abound and the eagles soar.In her free time\, she enjoys the outdoors and writing stories to entertain her children and grandchildren.
