Meet the Author – Jennifer Schmidig

Independent Bookstore Day, April 25, 10am-2pm. Meet author Jennifer Schmidig; she’ll have books for sale and signing.

The Books:

The Fairy and Gnome Tales are a collection of entertaining and imaginative Fairy and Gnome Tales each of which features a virtue/virtues. The target audience is geared for 9-11 year olds, however, the books may be appealing for all ages, youth through adult.

Fairy and Gnome Tales Book Four-Never Give Up, features Quinn, a gnome reluctant to begin the school year. He is struggling with reading and ready to give up, when he meets Fletcher, an owl and other magical creatures who help him to practice and persevere. He realizes that he can do it.

About the Author:

Jennifer Schmidig is living her dream of making a difference in children’s lives. She has recently retired from teaching elementary students for close to 30 years. She lives with her husband, son, and a few energetic kitties in Northern Wisconsin, where the woods are still deep, the lakes abound and the eagles soar.In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors and writing stories to entertain her children and grandchildren.
